At Clear Concept Cosmetics, we stand behind the performance and safety of our formulas. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right—fairly, promptly, and in full respect of your statutory rights.


1) Quick Summary

  • Cooling-off (EU/UK): You have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason. You then have 14 more days to send items back.

  • Change-of-mind returns (global, our goodwill): 30 days from delivery for unopened goods in original condition.

  • Defective or damaged items: We’ll replace or refund promptly (photos may be requested).

  • Hygiene & safety: For skincare, opened/unsealed items are not returnable unless the product is defective or required by your local law.

  • Refund method: Original payment method.

  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights.


2) Who this policy applies to (worldwide rights)

  • EU/EEA customers (including NL): Covered by the EU Consumer Rights Directive (14-day cooling-off) and EU legal guarantee for defective products.

  • UK customers: Covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations (14-day cooling-off) and consumer law guarantees.

  • Rest of World: This policy applies alongside any non-EU/UK local consumer protections. Where local law grants stronger rights, we honour those.

Note: During the 14-day cooling-off period (EU/UK), you may inspect goods as you would in a store. If the hygiene seal is broken or the product is used beyond what’s necessary to check it, we may deduct for diminished value, as permitted by law.


3) Eligibility & non-returnable items

Eligible:

  • Unopened, unused items in their original packaging (tamper seals intact), returned within:

    • 30 days (our goodwill change-of-mind window, global), or

    • 14 days after notice of withdrawal (EU/UK cooling-off).

Not eligible (unless faulty):

  • Opened/unsealed skincare or items not in original condition.

  • Gift cards, downloadable/virtual items, and free gifts.

  • Any item returned after the relevant time windows above (unless required by law).


4) How to start a return

  1. Email sales@clearconceptcosmetics with your order number, the item(s), and the reason (cooling-off, change-of-mind, or defective).

  2. We’ll confirm next steps and provide a return reference and address.

  3. Pack securely. Include all components and the order number inside the parcel.

5) Condition, inspection & refunds

  • We inspect all returns within 5 business days of receipt.

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (bank processing times may vary).

  • We’ll notify you if the return is approved, partially approved (e.g., diminished value deduction), or rejected (with reasons).

Late or missing refund?

  • Check your bank/credit card again → contact your card issuer → contact your bank.

  • Still no refund? Email sales@clearconceptcosmetics and include your order number.


6) Exchanges

  • If an item arrives defective or damaged, we’ll offer a replacement, repair, or refund—you choose, in line with applicable law.

  • For change-of-mind exchanges, please return the item (per above) and place a new order.


7) Shipping costs, duties & risk

  • Change-of-mind / cooling-off (EU/UK): You cover return shipping. For EU/UK cooling-off refunds, we do not refund your standard outbound shipping (if charged), nor any express/upgrade costs.

  • Defective/damaged or wrong item: We cover reasonable return shipping or provide a prepaid label (where available).

  • International duties/taxes: Import duties and taxes are non-refundable by us; you may be able to reclaim locally.

  • Use a trackable service; risk of loss passes to us only once received.


8) Sale items & gifts

  • Sale/Promotional items: Marked Final Sale where indicated—otherwise, same rules as full-price.

  • Gifts:

    • If marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, approved returns can be refunded as store credit to you.

    • If not marked as a gift, we refund the original purchaser.


9) Your statutory rights (EU/UK focus)

  • Cooling-off (EU/UK): Notify us within 14 days of delivery to cancel; return within 14 days after your notice.

  • Legal guarantee (EU/UK): Products must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If defective, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund according to law.

  • This policy is intended to be complementary to your rights and does not limit them.


10) How to cancel (EU/UK model form)

You may copy/paste the following into an email to sales@clearconceptcosmetics:
